Kamba wa kupaka - Prawns in coconut

Serves 6 people

Ingredients
1 lb. prawns shelled and cleaned
2 cups coconut milk
270ml Ukuva iAfrica Zulu BBQ/cooking sauce with fire roasted tomato
1 medium onions, chopped
2 tbsp Ukuva iAfrica Swazi Mamma Mamba chilli sauce
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. Ukuva iAfrica Zulu Fire Spice or to taste
1 tsp. garam masala
¼ tsp. ground turmeric
Ukuva iAfrica Khoisan Seaweed Salt
Ukuva iAfrica Swahili Lemon Pepper
Chopped coriander to garnish
Method
1.Fry the chopped onions in the oil for 5 minutes.
2.Add Ukuva iAfrica Zulu BBQ/cooking sauce with fire roasted tomato and Ukuva iAfrica Swazi Mamma Mamba chilli sauce. Add Ukuva iAfrica Khoisan Seaweed Salt, all the remaining spices and the prawns and blend them with half of the coconut milk and simmer until well cooked.
3.Add the remaining coconut milk and cook for another 5 minutes. Sprinkle with Ukuva iAfrica Swahili Lemon Pepper and garnish with chopped coriander.
4.Serve with rice or chapatis.
